Sore throat go away! How am I ever going to sing a song with Dan properly tomorrow if I sound like a husky woman named Beatrice?! No offense to anyone named Beatrice. I’ve been trying to kick this sore throat for a good three days now but it seems it just wants to stick around. Earl Grey and I have been great friends but even more so this week- we are inseparable.
Anyways, Tuesdays: Not the first day of the week, not over the hump of Wednesday, and certainly not the last. No matter what day of the week everyone needs a good laugh, right? Apparently people who laugh more live longer, reap physical and mental health benefits, and handle stressful situations better. Not to mention that couples who laugh together are more likely to stay together.
Research says that preschoolers laugh up to 400 times a day, while adults only laugh an average of 17 times per day. BUZZ KILL. Studies even show that fake smiling, fake laughter, or laughing for no reason produces positive effects (hum, weirddd). Marissa and I have been doing this thing lately where we mention something not funny whatsoever and follow it with a boisterous laugh. Not going to lie, after that, it’s funny. Just because we sound stupid.
